Pay less on UCSC Bills

Save $10: Cancel CALPIRG donation in MyUCSC

If you are paying $10 to CALPIRG on every quarterly bill and you no longer wish to do so, cancel your pledge on their website.

Save $7: Opt-out from UCGPC fees on your UCSC bills

If you do not wish to be charged $2-$3 per quarter for UCGPC fees, you can opt-out in MyUCSC >> Undergraduate Student eForms >> UCGPC Registration Fee Opt-out (see the left sidebar). Not that you cannot opt out of the fees for the current quarter after the third week of instruction but you CAN opt out for future quarters.

Pay $0: Eliminate transaction fees in UCSC eBill/ePay

When making a payment in MyUCSC >> My Account $ >> UCSC eBill/ePay, would you rather:

  • Be charged an additional 3% of your payment as a transaction fee for paying with a debit card or credit card?
  • Pay $0 in transaction fees when you make payments directly from your checking or savings account?

That’s what we thought! Save some money: don’t use cards to pay in UCSC eBill/ePay.
